Kagen & Meltzer CPAs is an accounting firm that specializes in the preparation of tax returns.  The firm was founded in 1989 by Paul D. Kagen and Gordon J. Meltzer.

Paul D. Kagen is the senior partner of Kagen & Meltzer, CPAs.  Since becoming a CPA in 1960, Paul has been a active leader in his community.  Originally from New York and a proud graduate of CCNY, Paul settled in Silver Spring, MD with his wife, Dot and their two children, Susan and Ellen.  

Gordon J. Meltzer is the managing partner of Kagen & Meltzer, CPAs.  Originally from New York City, Gordon came to Maryland as a child.  Gordon is a proud graduate of Einstein High School and George Washington University.  He has practiced as a CPA since 1979. He currently resides in Olney, MD with his wife Karen and their two children Jessica and Noah.  His eldest daughter, Elizabeth, is currently earning her law degree at Georgetown University.

Martha (Marty) MacFarland is a Senior Accountant at Kagen & Meltzer, CPAs.  She has been with the firm since 1991.  Originally from West Virginia,  Marty settled in Maryland with her husband, Bob and three children, Megan, Katie and Brian.  They currently reside in Laurel, MD.
